Background and Purpose
The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Alumni Association was founded in 1889 and has been the foundation of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ alumni community for more than 125 years.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAA’s mission is to support the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and higher education in the state of Washington.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for managing Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAA affairs and setting the tone and direction for the association. Numbering at least 15 members, the Board sets policy for the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAA, serves as ambassadors to the alumni community and the public, and advocates for higher education. In keeping with our mission of broad-based engagement, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAA trustees represent a wide range of viewpoints, backgrounds and experiences.

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAA is currently accepting nominations for trustee candidates.

Confidentiality
Due to the limited number of new trustees selected each year through a competitive process, we ask that you do not inform candidates of their nomination. All deliberations are kept confidential.

The following process to nominate candidates to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Alumni Association (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAA) Board of Trustees is an initiative of the independent 501(c)(3) Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAA, and not a process within the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. The information provided to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAA will be kept strictly confidential, used only for the purpose described below, and will not be shared with the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ nor any other external agency or individual.
