Building the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s capacity for CE documentation and assessment: CCÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ Fall 2025 Update

(CCÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ) is a database and management platform that allows Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ faculty, staff, students and community partners to connect, organize, and understand impacts of collaboration.

Fall 2025 Update

This autumn, we’re rolling out the platform to support community-engaged courses. We are also exploring new uses such as:

  • Civic Health Scorecard, piloting on the Seattle campus
  • Internships, piloting on the Bothell campus
  • “courses” for community partner field supervisors, piloting on the Tacoma campus

We have been working hard to provide as much support as possible for Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ administrators, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ members, and community partners through trainings, demos, guides and step-by-step instructions:

  • this is a publicly accessible Google folder with guides and step-by-step instructions about GivePulse and about the CCÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ instance.
  • – explore these specific guides and videos
  • Community Partners –
  • Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Users –

We are also building a documentation and assessment framework for community engagement, which CCÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ will be instrumental in operationalizing.

By the Numbers:

  • >8,000 students, faculty, staff across 3 campuses
  • >300 community partners
  • >400 positions, events and opportunities
  • >2000 “impactsâ€ of hours or deliverables
  • 27 fall courses and many programs

Over the next two quarters, we aim to:

  • Further support community-engaged courses
  • Foster the nascent CCÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ admin community of practice
  • Pilot the NextGen Civic Leader badge on the Seattle campus
  • Support co-curricular community engagement
  • Lay a foundation for ethical and useful documentation and assessment of community engagement
