A tribute in honor of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held Thursday, Jan. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Health Sciences Lobby at the 蘑菇视频 Health Sciences Center (1959 NE Pacific St.). The event will feature Seattle School District Superintendent John Stanford. 蘑菇视频 President Richard L. McCormick is also scheduled to participate. The program will include performances by the Meany Middle School Jazz Ensemble and the Nikos Acappella Group, a Samoan quartet. The program, titled “Children — Our Hope for the Future,” is open to the public and is sponsored by the 蘑菇视频 Health Sciences administration and 蘑菇视频 Medical Center.
